Inactive creative mind is like a fountain pen which is kept on the table uncapped after its use. It takes effort to have it write again.

Sometimes, I wonder if a quote will make any difference to my life or anyone else’s. Maybe it doesn’t have to. Maybe we should just shut up and read it.

A quote doesn’t have to be short to have meaning. A quote simply has to intrigue the mind and set forth a new way of thinking.

Fundraising is only possible with donations, and donations are only possible with generosity, and generosity is only possible with compassion, and compassion is only possible through suffering. But suffering is going on throughout the world, so if you reverse all that then; there’s loads of suffering so there should be plenty of compassion which should generate copious amounts of generosity which would ultimately lead to multiple donations which totalled together puts an end to all the suffering?? So what’s the world missing.

Can all our mistakes be corrected? Maybe no. But I think most can. It comes down to the old Ingrid Bergman quote… Happiness is good health and a bad memory…So to correct mistakes, you have to improve your health, and forget the past.

My Grandpa’s quote on his kitchen wall:

“I would force all male politicians to trade their blue pinstriped suits, their red neckties, their white shirts, their silk socks, their wristwatches, their cufflinks and their fancy shiny black wingtip shoes for overalls.

I would make them go barefoot at all times.

I would force them to shave their heads and grow long beards. (I volunteer to shave their heads myself)

I would require them to swap their BMWs for pickups.

I would fine them $100,000 for wearing shoes or having hair on their heads or owning a razor.

A humbled man is always more trustworthy.”
