philosopher/thinker is a person who wants to despise every other person on earth…
, Hakito, and Johnsoncw3 are discussing. Toggle Comments
How can a philosopher despise every other person on earth? The smartest people in the world are philosophers, because an average person can’t comprehend his intelligence does not mean he despises anything, he just sees things in ways that we as people who live to live and not to think can not comprehend. Like say whether or not God exists?
The only difference between a philosopher and a normal person, is that the philosopher doesn’t want to believe in what others blindly follow.
And if you aren’t thinking the same as the others, there will always be people that will disagree about the way you think, and in turn you will disagree about theirs, I guess that’s what you may call despite.
Also, a mainstream person has less people to despite than the philosopher, yet, they both despite those that think in a different way than them.
philosopher dont want to believe what other people believe…. he always want to “stay ahead”.. he dont want to do what other people do because he think it will lower his standard (or it doesnt match his philosophies).. so he will try to find reason for everything and set his own philosophy… thus he cannot enjoy his life at least until his philosophies are not acknowledged…
Thus their mindset is to despise other person.
You can think philosophers are the people “ahead of others” because they are ‘thinking people’ and it could be true… but it is a curse upon them that makes them to think…. they will miss many things because of that…
Philosophies and every thought comes out of the question “WHY”… that is the question that makes one think..and when you reach the answer, there always comes a new “WHY”.. there is always a why for everything….and that is the question take all your finest happiness in life away.. that is the question you cannot sleep.. and finally that is the question that makes you tired..
“If there is another life, I would like to be a plumber. I don’t want to be a physicist. I want to be something very simple – a plumber.” -einstein
Both Johnsoncw3 and Hakito are having a glimpse of that because you use words “smartest people in the world are philosophers” and “philosopher and a normal person”……. you both think they are bigger people….
Even if one doesn’t succeed, as long as he tries, he’s going to be above the average person. Because people don’t even bother trying in the first place…
However, many philosophers fall prey to their own words, which act as chains of their mind, therefore, they sometimes end up with a state of mind worse than a average person.
…And if I think about it, I am unable to go in details, way too much ground to cover, but I will just say that regrets, and nor anything else will matter at one point.
As for a person always asking “WHY”, that’s just a illusion created when emotions interfere with what you think, and the more you try to solve it, the worse it gets. Usually when you stop trying to solve it, but neither give up, that’s when it goes away.
Yet most people simply take refuge in the real world to put that bothering illusion to sleep, but that doesn’t solve anything, because they aren’t even putting anything to sleep, they are just creating a illusion inside a illusion, which leads to one being unable to achieve peace of mind.
Interesting thought, I must say…..
I am feeling normal now…..
